About Hand & Foot Care

Hand and foot care in Pakistan: what this edit is for

Your hands and feet work harder than any other skin you own. Hands get washed a dozen times a day, often with harsh soap and hard water, while feet spend the summer in open sandals collecting dust and heat. The result is tight knuckles, rough cuticles and cracked heels that a face moisturiser was never designed to fix.

This is our new Hand & Foot Care edit. New stock is arriving, so the shelf is empty for now, but the guide below explains what to look for in a hand cream in Pakistan and how to build a simple routine. Until the first products land, our body care range and Body Lotion & Oil edit cover most of the same needs.

How to choose a hand cream for dry skin

Most people buy hand cream on scent alone. A better approach is to read the texture and the first few ingredients, because they decide whether the cream actually stays on your skin after the next wash.

Humectants that pull in water

Glycerin, hyaluronic acid, urea and panthenol draw moisture into the top layer of skin. They make a cream feel fresh rather than greasy, which suits humid cities such as Karachi and Lahore in July.

Barrier lipids and butters that hold it there

Ceramides, shea butter, squalane and plant oils seal that water in. If your knuckles split in winter or after frequent washing, choose a richer formula where one of these sits high on the list.

Gentle exfoliants for rough patches

Low levels of urea, lactic acid or salicylic acid soften thick skin on heels and the sides of fingers. Use them on rough areas only, never on cracked or bleeding skin.

Daytime protection

The backs of your hands catch strong sun while you drive or walk, and that exposure shows up over the years as uneven tone. A hand cream with SPF, or a little face sunscreen rubbed over the backs of the hands, is an easy habit to add.

How to use hand and foot care: a daily routine

For hands

  1. Wash with lukewarm water and a mild, low-foam cleanser instead of strong bar soap.
  2. Pat dry, then apply a pea-sized amount of cream while skin is still slightly damp.
  3. Massage into knuckles and cuticles, where dryness starts first.
  4. Reapply after every few washes, after wudu if your skin feels tight, and before bed.

For feet

  1. Soak or rinse feet in warm water for a few minutes in the evening.
  2. Smooth rough heels gently with a foot file, never a blade.
  3. Apply a thick cream or balm to heels and the balls of the feet.
  4. On very dry nights, pull on cotton socks so the cream can work until morning.

Body products can stand in for now. A nourishing lotion from our lotions and oils edit works well on feet, and a creamy Body Wash is kinder to hands than squeaky-clean soap.

Hand and foot care tips for Pakistan's climate

  • Summer heat: pick light, fast-absorbing creams for the day and save rich balms for the night.
  • Hard water: mineral-heavy tap water leaves a dry film, so moisturise straight after washing.
  • Dust and open sandals: wash feet each evening and keep heels moisturised so cracks do not deepen.
  • Winter and gas heaters: indoor air turns dry quickly; keep a tube of cream by the sink and the bed.
  • Household chores: wear rubber gloves for dishes and cleaning to protect the skin barrier.

Hand & Foot Care price in Pakistan and what you get for it

A higher price does not always mean better skin. A small, well-formulated tube used every day will do more than a luxury jar opened once a week. Look for tube or pump packaging, which stays cleaner than open tubs, and a size you will actually finish within its shelf life. Live prices will appear on each product once stock arrives, and orders over Rs. 6,000 ship free across Pakistan.

Best Hand & Foot Care in Pakistan: coming soon

We are adding hand creams, foot creams and heel balms to this edit. As with everything we sell, every item will be 100% original and imported through the brand's official channels, with a 7-day return guarantee if a product is ever found inauthentic. While you wait, explore our bestselling skincare or browse the full skincare collection for moisturisers and barrier creams that also work on hands.

If you have eczema, persistent cracks that bleed, or itching between the toes, see a doctor or dermatologist. Those signs may need medical care rather than a cosmetic cream.

Hand & Foot Care: your questions

What is hand and foot care?

Hand and foot care is the routine of cleansing, moisturising and protecting the skin on your hands and feet. It usually means a gentle wash, a hand cream several times a day, and a richer cream or balm on heels at night.

How do I take care of my hands and feet at home?

Keep it simple: wash with lukewarm water and a mild cleanser, moisturise while skin is slightly damp, and use a thick cream on heels before bed. File rough heels gently once or twice a week and wear gloves for chores.

What is a good daily hand and foot care routine?

A good daily routine is hand cream after washing and before sleep, plus a foot cream or balm every evening. Add cotton socks overnight when heels feel rough, and use sunscreen on the backs of your hands in the day.

Which hand cream is best for very dry hands?

The best hand cream for very dry hands combines a humectant such as glycerin or urea with a sealing ingredient such as ceramides, shea butter or squalane. Choose a richer texture for night and a lighter one for daytime.

Can I use body lotion on my hands and feet?

Yes, body lotion works on hands and feet, especially for mild dryness. Very cracked heels or split knuckles usually need a thicker cream or balm, because lotion is lighter and wears off faster after washing.

Is a retinol hand cream worth using?

A retinol hand cream can help hands look smoother and more even over time, but it is optional. Use it at night only, and protect your hands with sunscreen in the day, as retinol makes skin more sensitive to sun.

When will YESBEAUTY stock hand and foot creams?

New hand and foot care stock is on its way to this edit. We do not share fixed dates, so check back soon; meanwhile our body lotions, body care range and bestsellers cover most dry-skin needs.
