About Sheet Masks

What is a sheet mask?

A sheet mask is a single-use layer of cotton, gel or hydrogel soaked in essence and cut to fit the face. You lay it on clean skin, relax for fifteen to twenty minutes, then peel it off and press the leftover essence in. Nothing to rinse, nothing to measure, and it is the easiest way to try a Korean brand before committing to a full-size serum.

Sheets are one part of our Masks & Packs aisle. If you are after clay, scrub or peeling formulas, browse Face Masks; if you want a leave-on layer for bedtime, go to Sleeping Masks. This page covers only the sheets, from classic cotton to the jelly-like hydrogels that have taken over social feeds.

Sheet mask benefits: what one session really does

A sheet works by holding essence against your skin so it cannot evaporate in the dry air of an air-conditioned room. That short, sealed contact is why skin looks plumper and more even straight afterwards.

  • Fast hydration: the top layers of skin take on water, so fine dry lines look softer.
  • A calmer look: cooling gels settle the flushed, heated feel after a day outdoors.
  • Better makeup grip: base sits smoothly on well-hydrated skin instead of clinging to dry patches.
  • A low-effort ritual: twenty minutes of lying still is easier to keep up than a long routine.

The effect is real but temporary. Sheets top up your routine; your daily moisturiser and sunscreen do the long-term work.

Choosing a sheet mask for your skin type

Sheet masks for oily skin

Oily skin is often dehydrated underneath, and a watery sheet supplies moisture without any heavy oils. Choose light gel or niacinamide formulas, and after removing the sheet, press the essence in rather than adding a thick cream on top. In peak summer, keep the sheet in the fridge for a cooler, de-puffing finish.

Sheet masks for acne-prone skin

A sheet mask will not clear breakouts, but a soothing, fragrance-light one can make inflamed skin feel calmer. Avoid placing a sheet over open or picked spots, and do not stretch the fabric over active pimples hard. On nights you use benzoyl peroxide, retinoids or acids, a plain hydrating sheet is a kinder choice than a brightening one. For single spots, reach for pimple patches instead.

Sheet masks for dry skin

Dry skin gets the most visible payoff. Hydrogel and collagen masks cling closely and release moisture slowly, and following up with a cream seals that water in. In winter, two or three sheets a week can make a clear difference to tightness and flaking.

Sheet masks for glowing skin

For radiance before an event, look for vitamin C, niacinamide, glutathione, rice or kojic acid in the essence. These give a brighter, more even look on the day and support the brightening steps already in your routine. A glow mask cannot stand in for SPF; daily sunscreen is what keeps tone even over months.

How to use sheet masks

  1. Cleanse and, if you like, swipe on a hydrating toner so the sheet sits evenly.
  2. Unfold the sheet over the pouch to catch drips, then line it up with your eyes and mouth.
  3. Smooth out air bubbles from the centre outwards so the whole face stays in contact.
  4. Relax for the time on the pack, usually fifteen to twenty minutes. Remove it before it dries out.
  5. Pat in the leftover essence, then apply moisturiser. There is no need to wash your face afterwards unless it feels sticky.

How often should you use a sheet mask?

Two to four times a week suits most skin. In very dry weather a daily hydrating sheet is fine. Brightening formulas are best spaced out to every other day if your skin is reactive.

Morning, night or before makeup?

Any time works. In the morning, a sheet preps skin for makeup; apply sunscreen once the essence has settled. At night, it slots in after toner and before moisturiser. Never sleep in a fabric sheet, as it pulls moisture back out as it dries.

Choose a sheet if your skin is thirsty or you want instant comfort. Choose clay if shine and clogged pores bother you most. Many people use clay first, rinse, then lay a sheet on top for balance.

Do sheet masks expire? Storing them in Pakistan's heat

Yes, sheets expire. Each pouch carries a printed expiry date, and once opened it should be used straight away. Keep unopened masks in a cool, shaded drawer, away from sunny windows and hot car dashboards, where summer heat can spoil the essence. Storing a few in the fridge is fine and gives a refreshing feel, but do not freeze them. If a pouch is puffed up, smells odd or the essence has dried out, throw it away.

Sheet masks price in Pakistan

Sheets are sold individually, so they are the most affordable entry point into Korean skincare and a smart way to test a new ingredient. Hydrogel masks usually cost a little more than cotton ones because the gel holds more essence. Live prices appear on each product page, delivery is free once your basket passes Rs. 6,000, and baskets over Rs. 8,000 earn two free gifts.

Every sheet on this page is imported from Seoul, Korea, through the brand's official channels and reaches you in 3–6 working days. As part of the Korean Skincare group, YESBEAUTY stands behind each pouch with a 7-day return guarantee if a product is ever found inauthentic.

Sheet Masks: your questions

Which sheet mask is best for glowing skin?

A sheet with vitamin C, niacinamide, glutathione, rice or kojic acid gives the most radiant look on the day. Hydrogel masks add a dewy finish too. Use one the evening before or the morning of an event, and keep up daily sunscreen for lasting results.

How do I use a sheet mask at night?

Use it after cleansing and toning, leave it on for fifteen to twenty minutes, then remove it and pat in the essence. Finish with moisturiser. Do not fall asleep in a fabric sheet, because it draws moisture back out of the skin as it dries.

Can I use a sheet mask in the morning or before makeup?

Yes, a morning sheet is a good makeup prep. Choose a hydrating or gel formula, let the essence settle for a few minutes, then apply a light moisturiser and sunscreen before your base. Skin usually looks smoother and makeup sits better.

Should I wash my face after using a sheet mask?

No, you do not need to. Pat the leftover essence into your skin and follow with moisturiser. Rinse with plain water only if your skin feels sticky or the pack specifically tells you to.

How many times a week should I use a sheet mask?

Two to four times a week suits most people. Daily use of a hydrating sheet is fine in very dry weather. Space brightening sheets out if your skin is sensitive or you also use strong actives such as retinoids.

Are sheet masks good for oily skin?

Yes. Oily skin often lacks water rather than oil, and a light gel or niacinamide sheet hydrates without heaviness. Press the essence in afterwards and use a gel moisturiser so your T-zone stays comfortable in humid weather.

What are sheet masks made of?

Sheet masks are made of cotton, pulp fibre, gel or hydrogel soaked in an essence. Cotton sheets are light and breathable, while hydrogels are thicker, jelly-like and cling more closely, releasing moisture slowly as they warm on the skin.

Can I keep sheet masks in the fridge?

Yes, chilling them is safe and gives a cooling, de-puffing feel in summer. Do not freeze them, and always check the expiry date printed on the pouch. Outside the fridge, store them in a cool, dark drawer away from heat.

Are sheet masks worth it?

They are worth it as an occasional boost. Sheets give fast hydration and a fresher look, and are a low-cost way to test a brand. They cannot replace cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen, which do the long-term work for your skin.
