About Body Sprays

What is a body spray?

A body spray is a low-strength fragrance designed to be sprayed over the torso, arms and clothes. Most come in pressurised aerosol cans that release a wide, dry cloud, though pump bottles are increasingly popular. Some body sprays also contain deodorising ingredients that help mask odour, which is why they often sit on the same shelf as deodorants.

Body spray vs deodorant vs perfume

A body spray scents a wide area for a few hours. A deo stick or roll-on works on the underarms to manage odour, and an antiperspirant also reduces sweat. Perfume is far more concentrated and goes on a few pulse points. Many people in Pakistan use all three: a roll-on in the morning, a body spray after the gym and a perfume for the evening.

How to choose a body spray

Scent and season

Fresh aquatic, citrus and mint sprays feel cooling in summer, when you may want a quick lift after a sweaty commute. Woody, spicy and amber sprays suit winter and evenings out. Sweet fruity and floral sprays are popular with students and for relaxed weekends.

Body Sprays for oily skin

Oily skin often holds fragrance well, so you rarely need many bursts. Aerosols dry quickly and leave no film, which suits oily skin in humid cities. Spray over a cotton shirt rather than directly on skin if you notice shine or clogged pores on your chest or back.

Body Sprays for acne-prone skin

Fragrance and alcohol can irritate active breakouts on the back, chest and shoulders. Keep the spray away from these areas, mist it onto clothing instead, and shower soon after heavy sweating. If body breakouts are persistent or painful, speak to a dermatologist.

Gas or no-gas?

Aerosol sprays feel cold and dry instantly. Gas-free pump sprays deliver more fragrance per press and are easier to pack for travel. Both work well; choose the feel you prefer.

Body sprays for men and women

Men's body sprays usually lean fresh, aquatic, aromatic or woody, and are often worn as a quick lift after the gym or before heading out. Women's sprays tend towards fruity, floral and sweet notes, and many are designed to layer with a matching lotion. These are only conventions, though: if a scent suits you, wear it. Students often keep one spray for university and another for evenings out with friends.

Deodorant spray or fragrance spray?

Read the front of the can carefully. A deodorant body spray is meant for the underarms and body, while a fragrance-only spray adds scent without odour control. If you already use a roll-on, a fragrance spray is enough; if you skip the roll-on, choose a spray that also deodorises.

Best Body Sprays in Pakistan: what to look for

We are building our body spray range, and new stock is arriving. When shopping, look for:

  • A clear label showing whether it is a fragrance spray, a deodorant spray or an antiperspirant.
  • A scent you still enjoy after ten minutes, not just in the opening blast.
  • A sealed cap and an intact, undented can with a printed batch code.
  • Sensitive-skin or alcohol-light options if your skin reacts easily.

Meanwhile, our bestsellers show what customers are choosing right now.

Body Sprays price in Pakistan

Body sprays are among the most affordable ways to wear fragrance, because their perfume oil content is low. Larger cans and multipacks generally work out cheaper per use. Live prices will appear on each product page once the range is in, and orders over Rs. 6,000 ship free across Pakistan.

How to use body sprays

  1. Shake the can well before each use.
  2. Hold it about a forearm's length away and spray in short bursts across your chest, neck and arms.
  3. Let it dry for a few seconds before dressing, to avoid marks on dark fabrics.
  4. Reapply after exercise or a long, hot day, ideally after a quick wash.

Using body spray with perfume and deodorant

Apply your deodorant first, then the body spray, then perfume if you want a stronger trail. Keep the scents in the same family, fresh with fresh or woody with woody, so they blend rather than clash. Browse perfumes in our fragrance hub.

Safety in the heat

Aerosol cans are pressurised and flammable. Never leave them in a parked car or in direct sun, keep them away from flames and stoves, and always spray in a ventilated room, never towards the face.

Every product YESBEAUTY sells is 100% original, with cash on delivery and a 7-day return guarantee if a product is ever found inauthentic.

Body Sprays: your questions

Which body spray is best?

The best body spray is one with a scent you enjoy, a format that suits your skin and a clear label. Fresh citrus or aquatic sprays work well in Pakistan's summer, while woody and amber sprays suit evenings and winter.

Which body spray is best for men?

Men usually prefer fresh aquatic, citrus-aromatic or woody sprays. Choose a lighter scent for the office and gym, and a warmer, spicier one for evenings. Pairing it with a deodorant in a similar scent keeps you fresh for longer.

Is body spray the same as deodorant?

Not exactly. A body spray mainly adds fragrance over a wide area, while a deodorant targets underarm odour and an antiperspirant also reduces sweat. Some sprays combine both roles, so check the label.

How do I make body spray last longer?

Apply it on clean, moisturised skin, add a light burst to your clothes and reapply after exercise. Pairing it with a perfume or deodorant in the same scent family also helps it linger.

Can I use body spray and perfume together?

Yes. Spray the body spray first as a light base, then add perfume on pulse points. Choose scents from the same family so they blend smoothly rather than competing.

Is body spray safe for acne-prone skin?

It can be used, but keep it away from active breakouts on the chest, back and shoulders. Spray onto clothing instead, and stop using it if your skin becomes itchy or red.

When will YESBEAUTY stock body sprays?

New stock is arriving, and body sprays will appear on this page as soon as they land. Until then, browse our bestsellers or our deo sticks and roll-ons.
